Namibia is not a country that announces itself. It reveals itself slowly, and stays with you long after.

Dawn on the Dunes

The white clay pan at Deadvlei — ringed by dunes that rise over three hundred metres, studded with camel thorn trees that died nearly a thousand years ago — is one of the most photographed landscapes in Africa.

Tracking Desert Elephants on Foot 

The elephants of Damaraland have adapted over generations to survive in one of the world's most arid environments — travelling further, digging for water, moving differently to any other population on the continent. Tracking them on foot with a specialist guide who knows this landscape makes for an unforgettable experience.

The Skeleton Coast

Whale bones and shipwrecks line the Atlantic shore here — the remnants of vessels undone by dense fog and currents that offered no mercy. Seen from above, the scale of it becomes clear: dune fields stretching to the horizon, dry riverbeds cutting through ancient rock, and a coastline that sees almost no human presence.

An Evening with Africa's Oldest Night Sky

NamibRand is Africa's only International Dark Sky Reserve, and one of the darkest places on Earth. With the nearest town over one hundred and forty kilometres away, the Milky Way here is not a faint band — it is a physical presence overhead.

Time with the Himba — Kaokoland

Hot Air Balloon over Sossusvlei
